FACTION RULES Basic Rules: You must be 18+ to create a gang. The minimum a gang must maintain is 5. Revenge reporting is not allowed. Gang members must wear 1-2 identifying clothing items at all times.. If a gang reaches 3 gang strikes and is disbanded, the gang members will receive a 14-day cooldown. If a gang member leaves a gang they will be assigned a 10-day cooldown. If a gang member is kicked from a gang they will be assigned a 14-day cooldown. If a gang leader wants to disband their gang, Leader will be placed on a 14 day cooldown. Gang leaders should make sure they are checking potential recruits for the “gang’s cooldown” and ensuring they have the appropriate gang role in the Second city factions discord. If someone has the gang’s cooldown role they are NOT eligible to join a gang You are NOT allowed to use any graphic packs that give you a significant unfair advantage over other players. Example: No prop, all day, no foliage packs, etc. If any scene needs the attention of a staff member these are the proper procedures to follow. DO NOT BREAK CHARACTER DURING THE SCENE. Let the scene play out then make a /report and provide a valid 2-minute minimum clip for the admin to review. If you break character during the scene it is considered FailRP. Admin taking the ticket should review the clip and make sure the scene is completed before coming to address the situation. While the admin is present and figuring out how to solve the issues, everyone should remain calm and respectful. This helps the admin focus on the issues at hand instead of everyone arguing about what happened. After the sit is completed, put the issues behind us and continue to have fun! Scene Validation Requirements for valid scenes: A minimum of 2 minutes of meaningful interaction is ALWAYS required for any role-play scenario. Longer interaction times are better and encouraged. After the required interaction time is met you MUST explicitly announce your intent of violence, hostile action or threat (INITIATION) BEFORE you can escalate to robbing/shooting etc. E.x. Hostile Initiation: “I’m done talking. Now it’s time to teach you a lesson. E.x. Robbery Initiation: “Hands up! Time to empty your pockets, or I’ll kill you” Interactions between gangs are valid for 15 minutes after parties leave the scene. If you fail to properly initiate before you leave the scene when you return, within the allotted time, you MUST initiate before you can escalate to robbing/shooting etc. The 15 minute timer is voided if you go outside a 5 block radius from where the scene originated. If you leave a scene and return AFTER the 15 minutes has passed, the interaction is no longer valid and you must validate the scene again. Starting an interaction within a 5 block radius of a greenzone is NOT considered a valid scene. Doing this is a violation of Powergaming and could result in a gang strike. Initiating then instantly shooting before the initiation can properly be said, giving zero time for reactions, will be considered RDM. YOU MUST INITIATE AFTER EVERY 2 MINUTE INTERACTION
